Taste Council of Ireland Summer School

The Taste Council of Ireland and Bord Bia, held their inaugural Summer School, last week in BrookLodge. The theme was The Future is Food, and speakers and chairpersons included The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries & Food, Simon Coveney T.D., Dr. Aine Macken-Walsh from Teagasc, Kevin Sheridan from Sheridan Cheeses, Darina Allen (no explanation needed!), Margaret Jeffares from Good Food Ireland, and Chairman of the Taste Council, our very own, Evan Doyle. Prof. Pat Wall UCD said “That if people spent as much on food as they do on cosmetics, then they might actually look better”.
